2018 Goals

By Ann Baisden January 7, 2018

I hate talking about "New Years Resolutions".  But I do like talking GOALS. Here are the goals I'm setting for myself. What are your goals for the next 12 months?

Shop local-food, coffee shops, clothes, entertainment.... the options are endless when it comes to opportunities to support local businesses in Toledo. This year I want to make a point to support and highlight as many Toledo-owned shops, restaurants, and products as possible.

Plan ahead - Meals, weekend activities, and that birthday party this summer.... Planning ahead saves so much stress!

Eat seasonal - Did you know the Toledo Farmers Market actually goes all year? During these cold months, stock up on seasonal and locally grown greens, squashes, and apples.  There are also local bakeries, coffees, honey, jewelry, and more each Saturday morning. The indoor market is HEATED during these snowy Ohio weekends, and is located at 25 Market Street in Downtown Toledo.

Update those family portraits - I suggest Blake Gage Photography!

Simplify your life - Each month, simplify something in your life. This month: TOY PURGE!

Try new things - Food, workouts, parks to walk in... any suggestions? I love trying new things!

Treat your body well - First step: Checking out Bullfrog Nutrition.  They carry all sorts of supplements, joint supports, and apparel.

DIY whenever possible - First up: Valentines!

Get involved in community service - I just signed myself and my senior pit bull up to volunteer with Pet Bull Project, and I'm excited to find other opportunities! Any suggestions?
