Date Nights In February

Macaroni Kid Toledo is all about family fun-but sometimes the parents need their own time out. Whether it's a monthly date night or just a "kids are gone-what do we do?" evening, Macaroni Kid has you covered. Each month Macaroni Kid Toledo wants to give you a few ideas of how to spend those precious and rare child-free times. 

Wine Tasting At The Zoo:The Toledo Zoo continues its wine tasting series in February with a Valentine's Day Wine and Dine special.  On February 10, from 6:30-9:30, guests will enjoy a multi-course gourmet meal, with professionally paired wines, and live entertainment, all in the newly renovated Malawi Event Center. Reserve your seats by calling 419-385-5721, ext. 6001 or by visiting toledozoo.org/wine-tastings-at-the-zoo. Tickets must be purchased in advance and reservations are required.

Dueling Pianos at Fleetwood Tap Room: On February 23, from 9:30pm-12am, Fleetwood's Tap Room will host a special presentation of Dueling Pianos featuring Jake Pilewski and Tim Bauer of The New Fashioned. Admission is free.  Fleetwood's Tap Room is located at 28 N Saint Clair St.  

Carriage Rides at Levis Commons: On Wednesday, February 14, from 6-9pm, and Saturday, February 17th from 5-9pm, Levis Commons offers horse-drawn carriage rides. Check out the site for more details, and remember the rides are weather-dependent.

Restaurant Week Toledo: Restaurant Week Toledo runs February 26 - March 4, and if you dine out at one of the 40 restaurants involved, you'll be supporting Leadership Toledo's Youth Programs.  The kickoff party will be February 22, an event where you can sample dishes from 15 of the involved restaurants, as well as wine and beer samples with a commemorative RWT glass, raffles, and music.  The kickoff party is held at The Secor Building, 425 Jefferson Avenue, downtown Toledo.
