“Will Tube For Food” at Snow Trails in Mansfield

Snow Trails 12th Annual Tubing Park benefit for local rehabilitation center

January 19, 2018

Enjoy some winter fun while also doing some good at Snow Trail's 12th Annual Will Tube For Food, benefiting Catalyst Life Services.

On Thursday, January 25 from 5 p.m - 9:30 p.m. and Friday, January 26 from 5 p.m. - midnight, bring at least one non-perishable food item and purchase a 2-hour Snow Tubing Ticket, and receive a second 2-hour tubing ticket for the same evening.

2-hour Tubing Tickets include the use of a snow tube, conveyor carpet lift to avoid walking uphill – typically required with sled-riding – and the use of multiple tubing lanes for a fun snowy descent. The food items will be collected at the Vertical Descent Tubing Park’s Ticket Hut at Snow Trails, adjacent to the tubing lanes and the Tubing Lodge which offers a snack bar, restrooms, and panoramic views of tubers sliding-by.

Catalyst Life Services New Beginnings Residential Treatment Program will benefit from this event. Clients of the Program receive group and individual counseling, vocational rehabilitation services, family reintegration services, and are supported in developing an investment in a twelve-step recovery program.

It is the twelfth season for the Snow Trails Vertical Descent Tubing Park. A combined total of over 300 adult, child, and adult double tubes are provided for guests of the park. Park lanes extend 1,100’ in length for a thrilling ride. A five hundred foot conveyor carpet lift takes riders to the top to choose from multiple lanes for descent. For the non-skier, it's a great opportunity to enjoy winter outdoors with family and friends.

Many enjoy the Park's Tubing Lodge patio area for the added atmosphere of an outdoor park-side viewing area complete with picnic tables, benches, and a fire-ring for warming.

Normal hours of operation include Thursday 5:00 PM- 9:30 PM, Friday 5:00 PM-Midnight, Saturday 9:00 AM-Midnight, and Sunday 9:00 AM- 9:30 PM.
