Happy New Year!

A Note From Your Publisher

Hello and Happy New Year!

Everyone seems to be talking about new year resolutions, but I’ve never been one to buy into the idea of making a new me for the new year. Instead, I like to sit down and make a list of goals I have for the new year. Some are simple, (call mom every weekend, read more), and some are more complicated. This year, the most complicated goal I have for the new year is: Simplify.

Yes, simplifying is going to be complicated. I want to teach myself to let go of a lot-material and abstract. Throwing out old things, without the intention of replacing them. Shortening the weekend to-do list, so that I can enjoy more quality time with my family. Planning a simple week of meals, so less time is spent preparing and cleaning. It’s going to be hard at first, but-like so many challenges-the result will be worth it.

I have found so many great lists and ideas of how to simplify your life, check out some of the pins I found.

I am so excited to start 2018 with Macaroni Kid. Since taking over the site in April, I have been working so hard to make sure I get the best information for my readers, and I’d love to know what you think. What kind of articles would you like to read? What kind of events do you look for? I’d love to hear from you!

Thank you so much for subscribing to Macaroni Kid Toledo. Good luck with any resolutions or goals you may have for 2018, and Happy New Year!
